The controller for data processing on this website is:

2. General notes on this website
This website is deliberately built to minimise data collection. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and embeds no third-party content that would be loaded automatically when the page is opened.
In particular, the typefaces used (Montserrat and Barlow) are served locally from our own server. Visiting the site therefore creates no connection to Google or other third-party providers. The embedded videos are likewise hosted on our own server; no services such as YouTube or Vimeo are used.
For this reason, the site does not require a cookie banner either: no storage of, or access to, information on your device takes place that would require consent.
3. Server log files when the website is accessed
When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically records information that your browser transmits. This comprises:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the file retrieved
- Volume of data transferred and notification of successful retrieval
- Browser type and version used
- Operating system of the device
- Previously visited page (referrer), where transmitted
Purpose: delivery of the website, safeguarding system security and stability, and
error analysis.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and
trouble-free operation of this website.
This data is not merged with other data sources, nor evaluated for marketing purposes.
4. Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider. The data arising when the site is accessed (see section 3) is processed on its servers, on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
5. Contact form
If you send us an enquiry using the contact form, we process the data you enter:
- Last name and first name
- Company
- Email address
- Your description of the planning problem
Purpose: handling your enquiry and contacting you.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as your enquiry is directed at concluding
a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).
Retention period: we store your details until the purpose of storage no longer
applies, that is, once your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively. Statutory retention periods
remain unaffected.
Technical delivery of the form is handled by the service Web3Forms. Your entries are transmitted to its servers and forwarded from there to us by email. Transmission is encrypted.
Alternative, should this prove too burdensome: replace the form with a simple
mailto: link — the third-party provider then drops out entirely.
6. Contact by email or telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, your details are stored in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as storing it is no longer necessary.
7. External links
The section “Our office in Konstanz” contains a link to Google Maps. This is a plain link, not an embedded map. No data is therefore transmitted to Google when our website is opened. Only when you actively click the link does Google Maps open in a new window; from that point on, Google's privacy terms apply.
The same applies to the “Request a demo” button, which links to our booking calendar with the service Calendly. Nothing is embedded here either – no data is transmitted to Calendly when our website is opened. Only when you click the button does Calendly open in a new window. The details you enter there – typically your name, email address and the time you select – are processed by Calendly; from that point on, Calendly's privacy terms apply.
8. SSL / TLS encryption
For security reasons, this website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar beginning with “https://”. When encryption is active, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
9. Your rights
You have the right at any time:
- to obtain information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- to request the correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- to request the erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- to request the restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- to receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR)
- to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- to withdraw consent you have given at any time (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
To do so, simply contact info@kapa.app.
10. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data. The authority responsible for us is:
Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-WürttembergLautenschlagerstraße 20

11. Changes to this privacy policy
We adapt this privacy policy as soon as changes to the website or to legal requirements make this necessary. The current version applies to each new visit.
